Why are E-mountain bikes so stigmatized?

Someone told me the weight of the bike is not good for the trails. This logic does not hold up in my mind because nobody is trying to avoid it. Is there something else that I'm missing? : just to be clear, I do not ride to EMTB but definitely not opposed to doing things in the right circumstances

A biker or a walker/hiker?
Ask which weight is ok for a Trail?
Isn´t a heavy biker on a normal bike the same?

And what is with Horseriders?
Yes sometimes i think a trail is ruined by a horse, but only cause i´m in bad mood or tired going round in rain with my dog and get dirty shoes. lol
