Our riding guide to Latsch: it’s not only alpine pursuits that are sought after in the Venosta valley, this area is also known for its particular tasty apples as well as its legendary trails. Just as Mont Ventoux is a mecca for roadies, the Heckmair route is a challenge for every aspiring alpinist, here the Holy-Hansen trail, the Propane trail, the Tschilli trail are what enduro riders come for. Those who want to have fun on their way downhill should come to in Latsch at least once in their lives. Those who’ve been here tend to return. We stayed at the Jagdhof and spent some time with Martin Pirhofer looking for trails and routes off the beaten path. Away from “shuttle troubles” we rode through areas we’ve never been to before.
