We were invited to spend time with their engineers, professional rider Nico Vouilloz and company director Gills Lapierre to see the new Overvolt AM 700 i up-close and test ride it in one of Lapierre's testing locations in Valberg, a few hours north of Nice.
The pioneering German eBike brand Haibike has just announced its range for 2018. Perhaps the most obvious change is that the external, downtube mounted battery is no longer present on many of the bikes. Lapierre released their first example of a Shimano Steps E8000 based eMTB for 2018 – the Lapierre Overvolt AM 729 i.
