SCOTT Sports SA is an international sporting goods company. We develop, produce and market bikes, motosports, skis and running products worldwide. To consolidate our Bike Division engineering team in Givisiez (Switzerland) we are seeking a

Experienced Bike Engineer


Integrated in our MTB Engineering team, you will develop carbon and/or alloy framesets, from concept definition to mass production, via industrial 3D. Your level of bike industry experience means you are comfortable working on and leading complex projects from day one.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

· Define new product technical specifications with the Product Managers

· Search for new concepts / solutions in close collaboration with other teams. Present, refine and execute these solutions effectively

· Support designers and 3D modelers during the design phase

· Validate the function and dimensioning of the concepts / solutions

· Handle the industrial 3D file in close relation with Designers and factories

· Validate tooling, material choice and process with our team

· Follow-up the tests to reach the performance and product safety / life-time targets

· Visit suppliers to validate the process

· Assist our Product Managers, Designers and factories to ensure the feasibility of the products according to the specifications

· Assist our marketing team in preparing and presenting product workshops and shows

· Manage assigned projects, respecting timelines, and coordinating project team members

· Mentor junior team members

Your profile:

· Mechanical Engineering Degree, and/or a very strong product development background

· Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Bike Engineer

· Project management experience

· Advanced user knowledge of 3D software (PTC Creo would be a strong asset)

· User knowledge of FEA software (Simulate / Ansys is a plus)

· Knowledge of bicycle mechanics

· Knowledge of suspension kinematics and frame geometry

· Ability to work in an engineering team, with proven collaboration and communication skills

· Creativity and an appreciation of good design

· Avid Biker

· Willingness to travel internationally

· An excellent level of English is required. German French or Chinese is an advantage
